An introduction. Why the site. Why the company. Why this crowd does not need another six pack.
The fitness influencer space is overrun.
Great physiques. Lighting. A morning stack that looks like a jewelry display. Low knowledge of how older people actually respond to training and nutrition. Their lifestyle is completely different from yours. They are not going to work, raising people, sitting on a plane, or trying to still be useful on a Saturday with grandkids. They are building a feed. You are building a life.
I have 35 years in this. I love what I do. That is why the information here is free, and why there is a lot of it. My passion is helping people change. My clients have lost thousands of pounds, put on an incredible amount of muscle, and become champions. I can give that away in bulk because the work was never the product. The change was.
The supplement company exists to support that. Highest quality we can build. It backs hard work and a desire to improve. It does not replace either one.
People talk about midlife like the body is a lease running out. That is not what I have seen.
Work capacity can still remain high. The ability to stay strong is there too. I have watched it in myself and in the people I coach. You can still train. You can still get after it. You can still be the person who unloads the car and then goes for a walk instead of needing a nap on the garage floor.
What actually changes is the unfashionable stuff.
Getting lean gets harder. Recovery gets harder. Sleep becomes a problem you cannot brag your way out of. Nutrition really begins to matter, not as a personality, as the thing that decides whether tomorrow's session happens.
That is the opposite of what the 28 year old with the six pack is selling. He can miss sleep, eat like a cartoon, and still look the part on Tuesday. You cannot. And you should not try to. Your life is not his content calendar.
If you are mid career, your time is precious. That is the whole game.
Optimizing your training has to be at the front. Not more training. Better training. The session that still leaves you a human being after it. Making nutrition easy has to sit right next to that. If the plan needs a chef, a spreadsheet, and a Sunday you do not have, it is not a plan.
I have written for years about keeping a rep in the bag, about simple work beating complicated work, about sleep being the recovery stack. I am not discovering this at 50. I am finally talking to the room I actually live in.
This is also not 2010. The field of medicine around midlife has changed. Hormone replacement and peptide therapy are part of the conversation now. I am not your physician, and this site is not going to play one. If that door is relevant to you, it belongs in a room with a doctor who knows your labs. What I will not do is pretend the only tools that exist are a barbell and a protein shake. Ignoring the medicine is as sloppy as worshipping it.
Travel. Grandkids. Adventure. That is the modern retirement. An amazing post work experience, not a slower version of the job.
The people who want to maximize that life need specific information. Not a shaved down bodybuilding template. Not a 22 year old's pre workout advice with the volume turned down. Information for a body that still has a high work capacity and still gets strong, and also has to sleep, recover, stay lean enough to move through an airport, and show up for the people who are counting on them.
I started in a wrestling room in junior high. Bodybuilding. Powerlifting. Weightlifting. Professional strongman at 105 kilos. I have coached, I have called the big shows, I have written the programs. I still train. It is lighter and it is smarter. I am not trying to be 28. I am trying to still be useful when it counts: a hike, a suitcase, a grandkid who wants to be thrown in the pool.
Midlife Resurgence is the show. That is this site. Listen, read, train, eat. Science without the guru voice.
Modern Genetix is the house. That is the company. Products built to support the work, not to become the identity.
I can give the information away because I love the work. The company is there so the people doing the work have something on the shelf that was built with them in mind. Midlife, high standards, no fog on the label.
If you are still building, not coasting, not nostalgic, still willing to get the sleep and do the session, this is the room.
I will not sell you a new personality. You already have one. I will help you keep it performing.
Yours in health

I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. Talk to your physician before you start a fitness or nutrition program.
